O'ahu

The state of Hawai'i is made up of several islands. O'ahu is the most densely populated and is famous for landmarks such as Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor. The island is divided into different sections such as the Leeward Side, the Windward Side, the North Shore, Honolulu, and Waikiki. I spend most of my time taking pictures in Honolulu, Chinatown (which is part of Honolulu), the Windward Side (especially Kailua), and Waikiki. My approach has been to concentrate on a few areas at a time so I can get to know the community better and learn to see more. These places are exciting and there's always something going on outside on the streets or on the beach. In time I'm sure I'll get to know other communities better and begin taking more photos there as well.
